Ethos

Risborough Rangers coach girls and boys of ALL footballing abilities so if your child has never played but wants to come and have a go, they will be made very welcome.  Players benefit from qualified instruction using the latest soccer methodologies, we work using the FA 4 corners model and our football is closely modelled on the England DNA. Players will also learn individual skills and personal development as well as collective team development.

Football is about having fun and enjoying regular exercise. Helping players develop will also help to build self-confidence. We as coaches believe that everyone can benefit from playing the game and making new friends so come along on Saturday mornings and see what it’s all about.

Training

Training is held at Wades Park HP27 9AX every Saturday morning starting at 9:30 for approximately 1 hour. Training for the 2025/26 season commences on Saturday 6th September 2025.

Your child should wear suitable clothing for playing sport and please be mindful of weather conditions. Please ensure they have shinpads (mandatory) and football boots (recommended) as the ground can be slippery if wet.

Please make sure your child brings a drink.

Matches

U7s play matches on a Sunday, mostly in the AM. Availability and selection for matches is done via Pitchero.

Membership

You are welcome to come along to a couple of taster sessions before committing to the club. If you do wish to join the team, we manage membership via Pitchero and season fees are applicable.

Important Note to Parents

Any player that has a medical condition such as asthma must always bring their own personnel medication to all training sessions and have it within easy access at all times.

Training is not a “drop and run” so we ask that parents or guardians to remain in attendance during the session or have someone there who is responsible for the player and encourages them at every opportunity.

All of our coaches/manager are volunteers. They are CRB checked and have completed FA child safeguarding and First Aid courses. We are always looking for more help, so if you would like to join the coaching team please speak to the manager Joe Moran-Smith.

If you would like any further information then please contact the manager above.
