CHARTER STANDARD COMMUNITY CLUB

England Football Accredited (2)

FA Charter Standard Community Club

Risborough Rangers are proud to have been awarded this accreditation from the Football Association. It acknowledges that we have achieved the most advanced level of Club development and football provision. It is the highest level of Club recognition in grassroots football.

The criteria for this achievement have been finely scrutinised by the F.A. who have rigidly adjudged us to be well run and sustainable – prioritising child protection, F.A. quality coaching and implementing the Respect Code of Conduct.

We are committed to a continuing total ‘ inclusivity’ policy, giving the opportunity for people whatever their ability, gender or age to play and enjoy ‘the beautiful game’. Our Club structure provides a ‘pathway’ for players to move from ‘Minis’ all the way to our senior adult teams. We aim to provide positive, safe football environments where people can develop their skills, keep fit and enjoy playing as part of a friendly, inclusive local community.

OUR STORY

Risborough Rangers JFC was started in 1971 and since then thousands of children have enjoyed their time with us. Today, we are one of the largest clubs in the area with over 400 boys and girls playing regularly between 5 and 16 years of age. The club is run on a totally voluntary basis with our main funding coming from the annual registration fees paid by club members. We are also very grateful for the continued support we receive from parents and local businesses, who sponsor individual teams.

We are proud to have FA Charter Community Status and fully support the FA Respect campaign to encourage good behaviour and sportsmanship. Our aim is to ensure that all our children have fun and enjoy themselves, whatever their age or abilities.

Today, we have more FA level 1 and level 2 coaches than ever before and are committed to continually improving the level of coaching across all the age groups, making sure we strike the right balance between having fun and improving technical skills.

Risborough Rangers JFC is going from strength to strength, thanks to the time, effort and real dedication of the club officials, managers, coaches and parent volunteers. We are proud of our club and what we have achieved.

FIFAR

Risborough Rangers is proud to announce FIFAR (Friends in Football at Risborough). For over 45 years Risborough Rangers has grown into a club that provides football for all ages and abilities including girls football and Pan-disability teams.

In order to provide the opportunities and experiences that the club aspires to give all its players it has been decided to create a charitable arm of the club, hence FIFAR has been formed.

Your words are powerful. As adults in and at youth football, it's up to us to understand the impact of our behaviour.Shouting, raised voices, loud and exaggerated behaviour can all impact the experience of simply enjoying football for a young person.Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility - let's all play our part in creating safe, fun and positive environments for children playing the game. ❤️bit.ly/-BBFAJuniors#berksandbucksfa #bbfajuniors #youthfootball #grassrootsfootball ...
